Toyota Corona as the flagship was present here in europe, too, but I can't remember that type of car anymore.
As described in Wikipedia, the Corona wore after a certain time either the name "Corolla" and in Europe the name "Carina". Rather strange, because there was also a line of "Corolla" here in Europe. But the japonese sqeezed a lot of models in the market in the last 50 years, and their namegiving didn't sound logical sometimes.
That's the reason we don't call this crap toyota-virus.
